Im Hussein was first introduced to audiences when AJYAL founder, Najee, had to step in to play the character when the actress had an emergency days before the character's debut. Since then, her antics have left us laughing at her, and ourselves, and she has become a memorable caricature, whose episodes have felt all too familiar. The hilarious AJYAL Theatrical Troupe joins the Festival of Arabic Music and Arts for the first time in its 8th edition to present Im Hussein in "My One and Only" in Mississauga.

تعرف الجمهور لأول مرة على ام حسين عندما لعب ناجي المندلق دور "أم حسين" من خلال الصدفة فوقع الجمهور في حب هذه الشخصية ولا يزال. تتعاون فرقة مسرح اجيال مع مهرجان الموسيقى والفنون العربية في دورته الثامنة لأول مرة لتقديم حلقة من حياة أم حسين  "ما الي غيره" في السادس من اكتوبر 2024 على المسرح الرئيسي في مركز الفنون الحية في مسيساغا

Synopsis: "When it rains, it pours" fits Im Hussein's situation nowadays. Many problems came her way all at once. Divorce was the straw that broke the camel's back. Life has not been the same for her ever since. She still struggles to resume her normal life, but she comes  up short. Success eludes her. She  esorts to enlisting the help of a psychologist, although members of her entourage do not believe in psychologists or  sychiatrists. They make fun of her for wasting her time and money on them.

Act I– 80 minutes
Intermission– 15 minutes
Act II– 60 minutes

ملخص:
عندما تمطر، تغرق. ينطبق هذا المثل على وضع أم حسين في الوقت الحالي. فقد واجهتها العديد من المشاكل دفعة واحدة. وكان الطلاق القشة التي قصمت ظهر البعير. لم تعد حياتها كما كانت من قبل. لا تزال تكافح للعودة إلى حياتها الطبيعية، لكنها تفشل. النجاح يهرب منها. تلجأ إلى طلب المساعدة من طبيب نفسي، رغم أن أفراد محيطها لا يؤمنون بالأطباء النفسيين. يسخرون منها لإضاعة وقتها ومالها عليهم.
